Royal Museums Greenwich
The Royal Observatory Greenwich needed two educational animations—one for primary students and one for secondary students—to enhance interactive learning and inspire interest in astronomy and space.
We developed two distinct animation styles tailored to each audience:
Mission to Mars (Primary Students): A fun, adventurous story following three friends preparing for and traveling to Mars. The narrative-driven approach introduced key space concepts while maintaining a lighthearted, humorous tone.
Stars & the HR Diagram (Secondary Students): A more sophisticated and visually rich animation that brought complex astronomy concepts to life. Using a hyper-real animation style, we showcased the scale and beauty of the universe while making abstract concepts accessible.
The animations have become a core part of the Royal Observatory’s educational programme, receiving high praise from teachers and students. Following their success, we are now collaborating on additional educational content for the museum’s digital platforms and exhibitions.
