Our ongoing relationship with the Cricket Regulator, in partnership with the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board), has led us to create multiple series of safeguarding films aimed at training safety officers who work with young people in cricket. The films cover everything from empowering young people and safeguarding concerns to communications material for statutory reporting and guidance.
We blended aesthetic shots of young people playing cricket with talking heads of senior stakeholders, as well as those working and playing at professional and recreational levels. This blend of voices demonstrate the breadth of safeguarding needed, while the 'beauty shots' show the community and joy that the sport can bring to young people - and why safeguarding is important.
Our films have become a central part of their safeguarding strategy. All new safety officers working with young people have undergone training with our films which has safeguarded young people nationally and protected the sanctity of the sport.
